Castle of Fear is meh not bad! There is a paranoid guy who was on a jury. Well a high fence, bars, locks and guns are the themes as a suspect goes into psychoses. A cop get shot as part the Pat Hingles's characters paranoia. Stone and Dan investigate as a the family is held hostage to a paranoid man. Well the veteran Stone is working on the mystery and figures out what happens. Castle of Fear is well acted, and directed. The story is formulated in a 70s way. Season 5 without Douglas tries to make up with sensationalisms, and action to replace the missing stars. We can see how streets could have lasted another 3 seasons instead of one if Mike stayed . Mike went on to be a star in movies and the series was not the same. 5 stars.

Pat Hingle and Pat Crowley great actors

Great episode. The house they used is located in Burlingame , Ca.. about 15 miles south of San Francisco. Was fortunate to be there and watch them film. Also met some of the cast. Pat Crowley was very friendly to all of us. The house is on Easton Dr.
