  Jonathan Kent : She took a nasty fall. She didn't break any bones or anything, but it sure slows her down quite a bit. She wouldn't hear of me staying home with her. No, she said I've been looking forward to this trip for too long.

  Clark Kent : S-She's not in any pain, is she, Pa?

  Jonathan Kent : No, the only pain she's in is that she can't be here with us.

  Clark Kent : I tell you, I miss her. I miss both of you.

  Jonathan Kent : Hey, stop that kind of talk or I'll start blubbering like a newborn calf.

  Clark Kent : Pa, since when do newborn calves blubber?

  Jonathan Kent : Well, I don't... it's something I just made up, that's all.
