  [to his silent teddy bear next to him] 

  The Toyman : Now, now, no need to curse, Teddy. We'll take care of Superman in due time. Nobody's going to come between my Darci and me.

• Superman : Kick. Left jab. Low kick. Left, right.

  The Toyman : What's he doing? He's trying to work out the ninja's moves. But the program is too complicated. He'll never figure it out.

• Darci Mason : You couldn't leave me alone, could you, Winslow?

  The Toyman : You were made for me, Darci. You know that.

  Darci Mason : You may have given me life, Winslow, but I'm not going to settle for this miserable existence.

  [cocking a toy gun, she starts to malfunction] 

  Darci Mason : I... can't.

  The Toyman : Of course you can't. You could never hurt me.

  Darci Mason : I want to... so badly.

  The Toyman : It's not part of your program, my love. You don't have the circuitry.

  [she tries to run away, but his sheriff grabs her with a lasso gun] 

  The Toyman : This time, things will be different. Everything will be just perfect. And I can make it that way with a few small adjustments.

  Darci Mason : I'll never love you. Never.

  The Toyman : I know there's a place for me in your heart.

  [holding up and whirring a drill] 

  The Toyman : I just have to find it.

  [she kicks a control panel of his helicopter] 

  The Toyman : What are you doing?

  Darci Mason : I can't hurt you, but I can destroy your toys.

  The Toyman : [she kicks the panel again]  NOOOO!

• The Toyman : Don't tell me, sheriff. I can guess. Superman?

  [the toy sheriff shakes its decapitated head, a la nodding, then hands him a sweatshirt monogrammed "D.M."] 

  The Toyman : [inhaling the scent]  Oh, Darci.

  [a hotel room key falls out of a pocket] 

  The Toyman : The Ridgemont. Room 1002.

• The Toyman : I know why you're here. You want Darci for yourself.

  Superman : That's not true, Schott.

  The Toyman : Well, I built her, and she's mine. But nothing's worth having unless you're willing to fight for it. So why don't we settle this the old-fashioned way? With a duel.

  Superman : [his path is blocked by a grid of laser beams]  I'm not playing your games, Winslow.

  The Toyman : I don't think you have a choice.

  [Superman is backed onto a life-size game board]
