This time, our brutal cops are on the trail of a lone drug pusher. You have a gritty sequence, when the lead cop asks one poor female drug addict about the fugitive. He grabs her jaw in such a way, I was shocked. You would have never imagined Robert Blake doing this this in a Baretta episode, for instance. And at some moments, you have the feeling that the drug pusher is the good guy. He and his girl friend may receive the empathy form the audience. Not bad story, not so usual, which also emphasizes on drug addiction more than on the traffic itself. The effects of heroin may have on junkies. It makes me think of the movie I talked about yesterday.
