Inspired by The African Queen

This is a very amusing and interesting segment of Tarzan. It is very clear that it is a delightful adaptation of The African Queen with numerous references.

Julie Harris is a missionary character similar to Katherine Hepburn. Manuel Padilla, Jr. is similar to Humphrey Bogart in being a guide through the African environment. The boat they are on is called "The Jungle Queen" instead of "The African Queen".

I do not wish to take anything away from an magnificent movie as "The African Queen" is and certainly do not wish to diminish "The Perils Of Charity Jones". A delight to watch anytime. Good job everyone.

Missionary on Danger!!

The Perils of Charity Jones divided in two parts could be a full length film, mainly by the presence of the great Julie Harris among others actors like Woody Strode and the good plot to developing the movie itself, but the bad premise proved unable to support such weird and absurd story usually done in the series, put everything to lose, but Julie Harris is an unusual actress and worth every single scene in a very convincing acting as always!!
