A lost briefcase leads to a costume party.
TxMike7 September 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I am a big "Taxi" fan but in truth this is not one of the better episodes. It turns out to be rather pointless.

Bobby comes into the garage with a briefcase that a fare left in his cab. But they can't get it open, until Louie arrives. He looks at it, from all sides, then taps it on the top and it opens. But he quickly closes it and demands $10 to open it again, because no one else can get it open by tapping it.

Anyway, they find autographed copies of photos of several famous people, and assume the owner must run in famous show business circles. But what gets them excited is an invitation for a costume party. In what amounts to a large stretch, they assume it is Woody Allen's annual private party.

So they all decide to dress up and crash the party, which they do, but nothing happens, there are no famous people there.

Really the only bright spot is the final minute when Alex, Tony, and Latka, dressed in Army dresses and wigs, as the Andrews Sisters, do a song and dance number in the garage for laughs.
