- Terrorists hijack SkyOne and threaten Team Knight Rider with a deadly gas stolen from the Gulf War.
- SkyOne prepares to go into "Stand By" status, manned with only a skeleton crew. Kyle is busy working on case reports; Jenny and Duke meet in the gym for a workout. (Kyle is more than slightly distracted by Jenny's gym clothing when she invites him to join them.) Dante reports to Kyle that he should fire Chief Mechanic Dennis (Jim Frye), for being rude and doing poor work. Erica is getting her first flying lesson from pilot Captain J.P. Wyatt (Lowell Dean), who tries to get a little too friendly. Meanwhile, terrorists disguised as food services personnel board SkyOne with deadly gas stolen from the Gulf War. Duke and Erica manage to steal the toxin, but Charlotte shoots at them and hits the canister. This causes Trek to be poisoned by the gas. Max wants money and certain prisoners released. Some of the prisoners are on death row in Texas and that slows up the process. If the deadline isnt met, the toxin will be released over Universal Studios. However, the toxin isnt real, and the real target was SkyOne. Now that F.L.A.G. knows that the toxin was a fake, they will shoot SkyOne down if it crosses a certain line. Duke tells Erica she has to reach the cockpit and turn the plane around. Even though she has only had half a flying lesson, that is more than Duke has had. Duke in the meantime takes on Ari (?) who is holding most of the crew hostage. Kyle and Jenny are put in airlock and they only have ten seconds before the outside door is open. Kyle decides to use those ten seconds to kiss Jenny. As Erica turns the plane around, the airlock door gets open and Kyle holds onto Jenny for dear life. Dante tells Erica to hit a button so he can close the airlock door to the sky. Kyle and Jenny manage to get out of the airlock and capture Max and Charlotte.
