- Eric's departure for Africa is punished by Kitty - she transfers her culinary favors the other boys, especially the newcomer, Red's fellow vet's well-behaved son, Charlie Richardson. Donna invents a date with a co-worker to make Eric jealous. Hyde hesitates as to whether to propose to Jackie or lose her to a producer's job offer in Chicago. Sweetly trying to fit in with the basement gang, 'new boy' and ridiculed virgin Charlie plays his trump card: dad's beer warehouse. The flowing spirit gives the taunted lover-boys courage, but to do what? Fez feels both sympathy for Charlie and fear for his 'whipping-boy' position. - Donna is still furious with Eric over his decision to spend a year in Africa. She threatens to date other people to get on with her life. Eric figures that Donna is giving him a fake ultimatum and decides to play along. Donna confirms a date with a guy from work named Kevin.
Donna admits to Jackie that she does not have a date and she made the whole thing up to mess with Eric's head.
Jackie announces she's been offered a job in Chicago starting within a week. She says that a TV producer called her and said that he loved her Public Access Show. Jackie says that this job is her dream come true, but then Hyde is the most important person in her life. Jackie says that she is willing to give it all up, but she demands that Hyde should decide whether they should get married. Hyde still doesn't answer and says that they just agreed not to talk about their future anymore.
Jackie says that their future is happening right now, and she needs an answer from Hyde.
Jackie talks to Donna and says that she had fake pregnancy right up her sleeve and didn't even use it as an excuse. Jackie confesses to Donna that if she really put herself out there, Hyde might say instantly or maybe even an hour or two. But now she is worried that Hyde might say no. Jackie doesn't know what to do if Hyde decided to say no.
Red introduces Charlie (Bret Harrison), the son of a fellow war veteran. Charlie is a "good-boy". The closest he ever came to breaking the law was when he cut school 5 minutes before the last bell. He is amazed at the kind of the things that the gang does, without getting arrested. Charlie is boring as can be, and the gang had no interest in spending time with him, until Charlie unwisely invites the gang to visit his father's beer warehouse.
The gang boys have never seen so much beer their entire life. They form a circle and start chugging beer from a cold keg straight from the tap.
Red and Kitty find Charlie missing from the house and Donna says that she hasn't seen him either. Red knows that the gang boys got to him. Kitty tells Donna that she has to work harder to keep Eric from going to Africa. She says that Donna has a very full chest and suggests that she starts using it on Eric. Donna is livid that Eric went out with the guys, instead of sitting at home agonizing that Donna is on a date with another person.
Charlie admits to the gang boys that he went to Catholic school and that he is a virgin. Hyde gets drunk and decides he wants to marry Jackie. Hyde makes his choice but passes out in the warehouse from being too drunk. By the time Hyde regains his senses, Jackie has already left.
Eric comes back home drunk and confronts Donna. Donna admits that she didn't have a date, but she should have. Donna is very clear that she doesn't want Eric to leave. Eric says that its only a year and that they will be together forever.
Charlie is brought home by Kelso and Fez, dressed like a Catholic schoolgirl.
