Ann pours bed-ridden Donald a small amount of water to drink while swallowing a pill for his injured back. Donald takes the pill and clearly drinks all of the water. He then calls Ann back into the room where he hands her the glass which is now approximately three-fourths filled with water.
As Don struggles to take his pill the small mirror along the far wall faces to the left. However as Ann convinces him to take a nap the mirror now faces towards the bed.
Jean Paul's good bye to Ann in French is translated in the subtitles as "Au revoir."
He actually says "J'espère à bientôt" which is a good-bye in French that implies he hopes to see her again versus the subtitled, "Au Revoir," which is a more general good bye for when you will likely not see someone again.
