An 18-year-old Swoosie Kurtz, who appears with her father Frank, is named for the B-17D bomber that Kurtz piloted in World War II: the "Swoose," a name derived from "half swan, half goose," the same USAAC 40-3097 that carried future-president Lyndon B. Johnson back to Australia from Port Moresby, New Guinea, following his time as a Navy observer of the B-26 raid on Lae.
