- Flip Wilson (Flip (1970)); Susan Saint James (McMillan & Wife (1971)); George Carlin (album "FM and AM"); Ann-Margret (Carnal Knowledge (1971)).
- Ann-Margret discusses the success she is having in her career, receiving an Oscar nomination for "Carnal Knowledge"; she gained 15 pounds for the film. She talks about her early career, when she says she made some poor choices and was typecast. Johnny asks about the "casting couch", and she says that could happen in any career. She also says she handles the publicity, especially bad reviews, better due to her husband. She rides motorcycles and now has a 1,000 cc Harley. Next is the comedy segment: a sketch supposedly of a new detective show "IronFeet" with the detective in a wheelchair claiming 11 disabilities. The next guest is Flip Wilson. He talks about Ed McMahon appearing on his show, with many other stars. He also discusses plans for driving across the US in the summer. He was bumped five times before his first actual appearance on The Tonight Show. During the discussion with Wilson, Johnny mentions that in May the show will officially be based out of California, saying they will return to NYC periodically. Wilson also talks about the current lawsuit alleging that he took six caviar plates from the house he had been renting. George Carlin comes out and talks about the fact that his second album is with Flip Wilson's company, and how liberating it is compared to the first album with RCA. Wilson and Carlin then do a comedy sketch of a television newscast. Susan Saint James discusses her pregnancy. She mentions being vegetarian, and talks about her birthing class. She explains that she and her husband placed no real emphasis on getting married, but did so out of respect for their families' feelings.—lenab9011
