Not much to like in this episode. It's like the writers are already bored and there's just so much heavy lifting Adrian Paul can do by himself. The whole B-story with Mel and Jess and the bar is so boring. Mel herself is as interesting as drier lint. She has about one facial expression and her role has devolved into exasperated mom with no backbone. The intro of Nestov has some potential but he's also grating and problematic so he could go either way. The kidnapping plot twist has been done a thousand times so there was no suspense or surprise. Nor was absolutely anyone in this episode sympathetic anyway. Adrian Paul's comical strip tease barely redeemed this episode so that's really saying something.
