Not terrible...not good.

The IMDB trivia section is important here, as the Allies never destroyed nor seriously damaged the sub bases in France. They had concrete something like 20 feet thick and even atomic weapons might not have destroyed them!! But, I could look past this problem with the plot.

Colonel Hollenbeck and his bomber group were tasked with destroying German submarine bases...with no success. Oddly, instead of giving the assignment to Colonel Gallagher and his men, Hollenbeck is sent to the 189th and he takes over temporary command. Once there, it's obvious Hollenbeck has a huge chip on his shoulder and is willing to destroy anyone who gets in the way of his receiving his star. Oddly, by the end, everyone is happy and they go out for a drink...even after Hollenbeck behaves horribly.

The previous two episodes were very poor, and while "Burden of Guilt" is subpar by the show's standards, it's still an improvement over the previous pair. Worth seeing...but easy to skip.
