In season two, Jack Lord was featured as Colonel Gallagher's brother. Inexplicably, the returns in season three as an entirely different character! An odd case of casting, that's for sure.
The Colonel and his bombing group have relocated to a field in Italy. The Colonel in charge (Jack Lord) has a serious chip on his shoulder AND he's a drunk. Because of this, the security at the base and in the perimeter is a mess...and not surprisingly, Colonel Gallagher is aghast. What's next? See the show.
This is a decent episode of "12 O'Clock High" though as I mentioned above, the casting of Jack Lord here is confusing. He was a fine actor....and I'm not complaining about this...but having him playing the Colonel's brother and the Colonel here...well that defies common sense.
