When David belittles Mark for not being spontaneous enough, Mark tries to prove him wrong by mooning the student body while accepting a Citizenship Award.
This episode was a good choice for the second season opener. It's funny without being too unrealistic - kind of like the Roseanne episode "Inherit the Wind". The first act isn't that great but this one gets better as it goes along.
The opening credits have been updated for Season 2 and during Josh Taylor's credit, the background reads "Airport Terminal" and it's done in the old RHODA font. I wonder if the set designer wanted to give a nod to Valerie's prior series.
Christine Ebersole's character Barbara is gone and replacing her is Judith Kahan as Val's neighbor/confidante Annie, who is much more dry and less animated than Barbara was.
CCH Pounder, in one of her first TV series roles, plays the stern principal Mrs. Davis.
Willie's actions in this one recall the big Ninja craze of the late Eighties.
