Mark and Willie get fast-food jobs at a Bossy Burger restaurant; Sandy plans to varnish the living room floor.
This is a typical wacky-teen type episode that would become a hallmark of ABC's TGIF lineup. In fact, THE HOGAN FAMILY would have fit in perfectly there if it had not run on NBC. THE BRADY BUNCH did a very similar episode. Mark of course is the conscientious worker but it is slacker Willie who ends up getting promoted, ending up way over his head. The twins' boss is played by former CPO SHARKEY star Peter Isacksen.
Sandy has a great bit of physical comedy with the runaway floor polisher.
The episode title was actually a popular catch-phrase in the late '80s. Bruce Hornsby & the Range even included it in one of their hits.
