This Virginian story deals with a pair of Shoshones a man and woman who learn
the white man's ways to survive. Ned Romero works at Shiloh to learn the cattle business from the Grangers and Buffy Sainte Marie has come back from a woman's college.
Both are ready to settle down at the tribal village which sadly is by a river where cattle rancher Jim Davis was granted water rights to. He's moving his cattle and Davis doesn't care if the Shoishone are in the way.
This is another tragic story about there being no place for the remaining Indians in the conquered American west. Good guest star performances including Jay Silverheels as the Shoshone chief.
