The Virginian

Why isn't Joan Blondell in the very last scene of the Virginian episode she guest-stars in? It's the court room scene... the dead girl's father comes over to sit beside her and apologizes for the mob who hung her son. When he gets up, she's not there, and we never see her again... it's odd to me. I'm just curious if there was a reason she wasn't in that very last closing scene. Not even Judge Garth has a closing scene there with her, when it was her who asked him to defend her dead son's honor.
