  Andy Travis : Since when does Herb keep a bottle of whiskey in his desk? Bailey?

  Bailey Quarters : Uh, a month or so.

  Andy Travis : [rhetorically as he points to Herb's desk]  Uh, uh, I wonder what else he's got in there.

  Les Nessman : [matter-of-factly]  Three combs, a brush, breath spray, six or seven bottles of after shave, and some clean socks.

  [Andy, Mr. Carlson and Venus simultaneously turn to Les in amazement] 

  Les Nessman : [with a mischievous grin on his face]  Of course, I'm just guessing.

  Bailey Quarters : [eating at her desk]  How come you never take me out to someplace for lunch?

  Les Nessman : That isn't necessary.

  Bailey Quarters : It is so, I have to eat.

  Les Nessman : You are eating.

  Bailey Quarters : No. This is... eating eating. It's not the same as business eating. As in a... business lunch at some simple but... extremely expensive little French place.

  Les Nessman : That's a pointless waste of money. Besides, you wouldn't like it.

  Bailey Quarters : I would so.

  Les Nessman : Okay, I wouldn't like it.

  [with distaste:] 

  Les Nessman : Snails.

  Bailey Quarters : Ah-ha! I knew eventually I would get the truth.
