It picks up where it left off.
Sleepin_Dragon29 December 2019
A calling card from a killer known as The Gambler is left with his only surviving victim. Boyd wonders if a copycat killer is picking up where the imprisoned killer left off.

The first full series of the show was outstanding, there is always a worry that a follow up will dip in quality, that is far from the case here, it's a brilliant story, enthralling, exciting, and slightly uncomfortable to watch. It's a gritty and intriguing watch, and boasts a terrific scene involving Mel and the prisoner, Rice.

Susannah Barker and Samuel West are both outstanding, he's menacing and incredibly believable, she is a bag of intrigue, you struggle to know if she's hiding something or scared.

Excellent. 9/10

Silly

Warning: Spoilers
The prison scenes were ridiculous. A serial rapist/murderer being interviewed in an art room without being cuffed to a table and cuffed at the ankles isn't realistic. Lazy writing to execute plot elements makes for silly results.
