I always got a laugh at the ranks each of the boys attained with their respective military service. Here's Ben who has some experience with woodworking and he never gets past Seaman and then we have dimwitted Jim Bob who just got out of high school and he is walking around with 3 stripe Sargent's stripes on, which back in WW2 was an E-5. Ah, what those dimwits in Hollywood know about the military you could put in a thimble and have lots of room left for your finger!

Why does a Walton who LOST THE CIVIL WAR think his Northern fellow POWs want to sing his song of defeat. I say that as a Vietnam Veteran who grew up in Alabama.
And golly gee a girl claims a Walton got her pregnant??? Must be an episode I missed where his bunch of nosy family missed running each other's business for 10 minutes.
