When West chases the man with the facial scar out of the martial arts training facility West's horse is missing. Both actors run over the area where the horse had been left.
Early in the episode it is revealed that West is an advanced student of kenjutsu - the art of the samurai sword. Yet at the end, in his sword fight with Falconer, his grip is all wrong. He holds (and swings) the katana like a baseball bat, with both hands together at the center of the tsuka, or hilt. To be correct, his right hand should be gripping the tsuka about an inch below the guard, with his left located a fist's-width below.
When Gordon loads the suitcase of bonds with the sparkling dust, West asks Gordon to test the system, which he does. Then, without reloading it, they take the suitcase out, and when it is taken (at the docks), the dust is dropped out of the bottom of the suitcase, just as planned. There are a couple of problems with the whole thing. First, the small amount of dust Gordon loaded in would have almost completely run out during the test, so there would not have been enough left in the suitcase to make the entire trail as they followed it. Second, the trail they followed was extremely smooth and straight. The person carrying the suitcase would not have carried it in a manner that would have created such a smooth trail - it would have been extremely jagged.
