The Wounds of War
Prismark1023 January 2019
Alf is still feeling the pressures about his lies. James and Ivy presurrise him to come clean to Mrs Lipton.

Everybody is feeling sorry for Lord George. Especially when Alf tells Sir Ralph Shawcross that Lord George cannot be having an affair with his wife, Lady Agatha because he got shrapnel damage in his lunch box during the war.

Lord George meanwhile is far from happy that Lady Agatha might be going out with another man, some years junior than her.

James meanwhile makes up an excuse to Poppy Meldrum that he is taking Ivy out to the cinema. When Ivy hears about this, James then reluctantly has to take her out. Only to find out that Teddy has also taken a maid out to the same screening, as well as Lady Agatha turning up with her latest toyboy.

It is a nice bit of farce that works out well for Lord George. All the gentry of London apologise to him for accusing him of having affairs with their wives.
