Cyber Leader : Daleks, be warned. You have declared war upon the Cybermen.
Dalek Sec : This is not war - this is pest control!
Cyber Leader : We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?
Dalek Sec : Four.
Cyber Leader : You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks?
Dalek Sec : We would destroy the Cybermen with one Dalek! You superior in only one respect.
Cyber Leader : What is that?
Dalek Sec : You are better at dying. Raise communications barrier!
[video link with Cyber Leader cuts out]
Dalek Jast : Wait!
The Doctor : [in the same room as Cyber Leader, listening in through Rose's mobile phone] Lost her.
Dalek Jast : Rewind image by nine rels.
[the image is rewound, and we see the Doctor in the background of the video link]
Dalek Jast : Identify grid Seven Gamma Flame. This male registers as enemy!
Dalek Sec : The females heartbeat has increased!
Mickey Smith : Yeah, tell me about it.
Dalek Sec : Identify him!
Rose Tyler : All right then... if you really want to know. That's the Doctor.
[all four Daleks recoil in apparent fear]
Rose Tyler : Five million Cybermen, easy. One Doctor? NOW you're scared!

Rose Tyler : [the Doctor appears in from of Rose in a translucent form] Where are you?
The Doctor : Inside the TARDIS. There's one tiny little gap in the universe left, just about to close. And it takes a lot of power to send this projection. I'm in orbit around a supernova.
[smiling weakly]
The Doctor : I'm burning up a sun just to say good bye.

[the Doctor walks around the console, inside the TARDIS. He looks up to see a woman in a bridal gown standing on the other side of the console]
The Doctor : [surprised] What?
Donna Noble : Ah!
The Doctor : What?
Donna Noble : Who are you?
The Doctor : Buh...
Donna Noble : Where am I?
The Doctor : What?
Donna Noble : WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE?
The Doctor : WHAT?
[Cue end credits]

Rose Tyler : Can't you come through properly?
The Doctor : Then the whole thing would fracture. The two universes would collapse.
Rose Tyler : So?

The Doctor : Isn't anyone going to ask me what's with the glasses?

Jackie Tyler : I said there were ghosts, but that's not fair. Why him?
Pete Tyler : I'm not a ghost.
Jackie Tyler : But you're dead. You died 20 years ago Pete.
The Doctor : It's Pete from a different universe. There are parallel worlds, Jackie. Every single decision you make creates a parallel existence, a different dimension where...
Jackie Tyler : Oh you can shut up.
[to Pete]
Jackie Tyler : You look old.
Pete Tyler : You don't.
Jackie Tyler : How could you be standing there?
Pete Tyler : I just got lucky. I lived my life. You were left on your own. You didn't marry again, or...?
Jackie Tyler : There was never anyone else. Twenty years though, look at me, I never left that flat. Did nothing with myself.
Pete Tyler : You brought her up. Rose Tyler. It's not bad.
Jackie Tyler : Yeah.
Pete Tyler : In my world it worked. All those daft little plans of mine, it worked. Made me rich.
Jackie Tyler : I don't care about that.
[pause]
Jackie Tyler : How rich?
Pete Tyler : Very.
Jackie Tyler : I don't care about that.
[pause]
Jackie Tyler : How very?
Pete Tyler : Thing is though, Jacks, you're not my wife, I'm sorry but you're not. I mean, we both, it's just sort of... oh come here!
[They run toward each other and embrace]

The Doctor : [the Doctor is transmitting his image from the TARDIS] Here you are, living a life day after day. The one adventure I can never have.
Rose Tyler : [crying] Am I ever going to see you again?
The Doctor : You can't.
Rose Tyler : What are you going to do?
The Doctor : I've got the TARDIS. Same old life. The last of the Time Lords.
Rose Tyler : On your own?
[the Doctor nods]

The Doctor : [Over the phone] Jackie! Where are you?
Jackie Tyler : I don't know! Staircase!
The Doctor : Can you see anything that can tell us where you are? Anything at all?
Jackie Tyler : OOH! FIRE EXTINGUISHER!
The Doctor : [Sarcastically] Yeah, that helps!

The Doctor : You're never gonna see her again, your own mother!
Rose Tyler : I made my choice a long time ago. I'm never gonna leave you. Now what can I do to help?

Dalek Sec : [Enraged] The Doctor will open the Ark!
The Doctor : [laughs] The Doctor will not.
Dalek Sec : You have no way of resisting!
The Doctor : Mm, you got me there.
[withdrawing the sonic screwdriver]
The Doctor : Although, there is always this.
Dalek Sec : A sonic probe?
The Doctor : [with jocular bravado] That's "screwdriver."
Dalek Sec : It is harmless!
The Doctor : Oh, yes, harmless is just the word: that's why I like it! Doesn't kill, doesn't wound, doesn't maim. But I'll tell you what it does do: It is very, very good at opening doors.
[He pushes the switch and the doors explode inwards; Jake's squad and some Cybermen run in and open fire]

Cyber Leader : I ordered surrender.
The Doctor : They're not taking instructions. Don't you understand? You're on every street, you're in their homes. You've got their children! Of course they're gonna fight!
