  [slams down receiver, shrugs:] 

  J.R. Ewing : Typhoon!

  Kristin Shepard : J.R., I'm sorry.

  [tries to console him] 

  J.R. Ewing : Well, that's not for you to worry about, I'll write you a nice reference.

• Bobby Ewing : [called Kristin into his office]  Close the door, please. Now...

  [sits down at his desk] 

  Bobby Ewing : where is J.R.?

  Kristin Shepard : Bobby, he didn't tell me.

  Bobby Ewing : Kristin...

  Kristin Shepard : He doesn't tell me everything. You know your brother.

  Bobby Ewing : Yes, I think you probably know him better than most of us.

  Kristin Shepard : That's not fair.

  Bobby Ewing : I'm not interested in fair, Kristin! I have questions, I need answers!

  Kristin Shepard : Well, I'll try and help.

  Bobby Ewing : Thank you. Now what do you know about the Southeast Asia deal?

  Kristin Shepard : I don't know what you're talking about.

  Bobby Ewing : Come on, Kristin, I'm not stupid. J.R must have dictated letters, signed orders.

  Kristin Shepard : I don't know anything about it.

  Bobby Ewing : Well, I think you're lying.

  Kristin Shepard : Well, I'm sorry, Bobby, I don't deserve that.

  [turns away sharply] 

  Bobby Ewing : Kristin, I'm not through yet. Is the Cartel in on the deal with J.R.?

  Kristin Shepard : [defiantly]  Why don't you ask one of them?

  Bobby Ewing : Thank you. You can go now.

  [Kristin turns away in a huff, storms out] 

• Kristin Shepard : J.R., I don't care about the money. I care about you. That's something you're not gonna hear from my sister.

• Kristin Shepard : J.R., I couldn't stop them. Your Daddy took everything. All the files on the loans, all the Ewing Oil holdings. Everything.

  J.R. Ewing : Is that right? You gonna be home tonight?

  Kristin Shepard : Of course.

  J.R. Ewing : Haven't made any other plans or anything, have you?

  Kristin Shepard : [scoffs]  Well, no, why would I?

  J.R. Ewing : Well, I know you Shepard ladies. You and Sue Ellen like to be assured of a rosy future. I'm just not certain I can provide that for you.

  Kristin Shepard : J.R., don't! I am not Sue Ellen.

  [hugs his shoulders from behind] 

  Kristin Shepard : Whatever happens, I wanna be with you.
