"Swine and Punishment" opens with Mr. Woodman reporting that Washington received a score of 90 on his English test, noting that Sweathogs never get A's: "F's are what Sweathogs get, and the only reason you get F's is because the school board won't let us give out G's!" The vice principal is naturally suspicious, despite Gabe's protests: "Kotter, they couldn't take a blood test without cheating!" Epstein suggest that Freddie take a second test to prove the first was no fluke, and he agrees, only to drop a bombshell in Kotter's apartment, that he actually did cheat after all. Washington explains that he expects to fail at something like geometry, but when it comes to THE THREE MUSKETEERS he knows and loves the material, but just doesn't trust himself to pass on his own. The other Sweathogs are willing to give him a hero sandwich with all the answers written on cold cuts: "there's the perfect cheating system, when you finish the test you eat the evidence!" Woodman's description of The Four Musketeers, Harpo, Groucho, Chico and Flunko, earns a 'Gookie' from Epstein, who also gives him his leg! This Thanksgiving episode again features Julie's broken arm.
