This edition received a positive review in the Dundee Courier, with an unlisted columnist writing (15th March 1986): "They may not be the greatest talent in showbiz, but Little and Large make me laugh - at least, the rotund one does (Wogan, B.B.C. 1). Terry's other guests included a colourfully attired Peter Bowles, who came over as a pleasant, amusing person, and Martin Sheen, who played John F. Kennedy in the TV series."
Although James Taylor had some hit albums in the UK, he never really took off in the UK Singles market, with just one major hit, the No.4 track "You've Got A Friend" in 1971.
Another track, 1970's "Fire and Track", stalled just outside the UK Singles Top 40, though the track performed on this episode, a cover of Buddy Holly's "Everyday", failed to make the UK Top 100.
