- Mr. Rogers: There are many different families of birds, just like there are many families of people. And one way or another, each one is fancy.
- X the Owl: What kind of family do you have, Handy?
- Handyman Negri: Well, I have a mother, a father, a sister, and a brother.
- X the Owl: [singing] A mother, and a father, and a sister, and a brother. And that's his family.
- Handyman Negri: Yeah.
- [sings]
- Handyman Negri: A mother, and a father, and a sister, and a brother. And that's my family.
- X the Owl: How about cousins?
- Handyman Negri: Oh, I have lots of cousins.
- X the Owl: Are they people cousins or owl cousins?
- Handyman Negri: They are all people cousins, because you see, I'm a person.
- X the Owl: I have owl cousins.
- Handyman Negri: That's because you're an owl.
- X the Owl: I know. It works out nicely, doesn't it?
- Handyman Negri: It sure does.
