Lots Of Fun. But Not Too Much.

I don't know what the writers were drinking, but we have a slew of fine episodes just because.

Jesse steps in last minute alongside Danny to chaperone Michelle's class to the nature museum. With the class split in two, half per adult, Jesse's free-wheeling attitude has his group running rampant. That is with Danny acting like a drill sergeant. Michelle and Denise happen to be in Jesse's group where she knocks down a priceless dinosaur. Uh-oh!

Meanwhile, Stephanie cleans out Joey's car and finds baseballer Nolan Ryan's rookie card. She gives it to Steve, no big deal. That is until Rebecca says the same card her little brother has is worth two grand. A big debate is started on who gets the money. Well, Joey's card might not be in good enough condition to be worth that much. Stephanie found it in Joey's car.

Both stories are funny and charming, but the main plot has the stronger story as it should. It didn't even bother me there were some inaccuracies. (no way Michelle could have knocked down a giant dinosaur that easily) it looks at the importance of rules. Of course, Jesse finds out how much he needs them. This always works out well no matter what episode or movie tries to tackle that theme. And it leads to the subject of the right amount of fun. This show alone has tried it a few times, and this is one of the many it gets right.
