After a relatively quiet winter, mother nature kick starts the spring with a tremendous workload for The Goods.
Realising that three hours of precious daylight are being wasted in the morning before Tom and Barbara wake up, Tom comes up with the idea of utilising the hours more effectively at least until this work is done.
They decide to wake at the crack of dawn and go to bed at sunset, in order that the full use is made of the day.
Things do not go according to plan as although the idea is good in theory, The Goods just cannot get to sleep at 7.30pm, their early morning chores are disturbing the neighbours who in turn are disturbing their efforts to sleep in the evening.
A great beginning to the third series.
