- In order to get out of a contract with his network, cartoonist Ralph Bighead hires fans Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt to create a sure-fire failure of a series that, much to his dismay, becomes a success.
- Famed animator/cartoonist Ralph Bighead (son to Ed and Bev Bighead) has had it with Hollow Wood. While his hit show the Fat Heads is still a success the studio says that he has to provide them with another show in order to get out of his contract with them. This exacerbates Ralph, who dreams of carving a gigantic still-life out of a mountain.
Hearing of Rocko, Heff and Filburt's interest in his plight, Ralph gets an idea: he'll let them create the new show, in hopes that their minds will produce a bad product, and easily get him out of his contract.
The threesome's effort is a strange series titled "Wacky Delly," which features characters made of bologna, sausage, and cheese. The effort is a poor quality, but the executives love it, and order more episodes! The show then takes the country by storm, and Ralph now feels trapped.
He attempts to sabotage the show (one episode focuses on just a jar of mayonnaise, another is an overexposed print where nothing can be seen), but even these are seen as works of genius.
Ralph then goes to his Dad, who uses a device intended for Rocko and his friends. The heat ray Mr Bighead has developed ends up melting the polar ice caps, with the intent to flood Hollow Wood. However, just before the wave hits, Heffer accidentally ends up jacking up the Bighead Studios building, saving it as the water washes over. With almost every other studio destroyed, the show is an even bigger hit!
Ralph gets even more angered, and lashes out at Rocko and his friends. Rocko explains that even though they work on it, it is still Ralph's show, and that he should be proud of it's success. Ralph takes this to heart, and then tries to artfully make the show better. A segment with a dancing sausage and cheese (reminiscent to the mushrooms dancing in Walt Disney's 'Fantasia') lasts only 5 seconds before the public grows bored, causing the show to be cancelled.
The show cuts to 10 years later, where in a dry desert, Ralph has successfully finished his masterpiece: a gigantic still-life carved out of a mountain, using nothing but spoons. As he marvels at his work, a fellow comes up next to him and thinks it's good...but still thinks it doesn't hold a candle to that "Wacky Delly" series that used to be on TV.
