Cathy finally reacts appropriately to Jill's actions.
This for me is the best episode so far with memorable lines, moments of satisfaction along with the usual outrageous behaviour.
Witnessing Cathy turn is a high point of the episode and one that provides immense gratification as a viewer. However, Jill's never say die attitude is as brutal a response as Julia Davis could write and perform for such a narcissistic main character.
There is more manipulating, self serving, backstabbing, and downright repulsive behaviour, prior to the brilliant and hilarious crescendo that is Terry's funeral.
Davis, along with Rebecca Front and Mark Gatiss are on great form as always.
