Half way through the series brings on 3 1/2 years of clips.

Warning: Spoilers
Sophia announces out of the blue that she's moving in with Phil so they spend two episodes reminiscing, whether it's about the times where they shared beds, about the men they've dated, and all of the cheesecakes they've eaten. It starts off with Sophia's arrival and moves to Sophia's bedroom for a couple of clips (including the classic "Danny Thomas is a lesbian" episode) to the many men in their lives, honoring the then recently deceased Brent Collins (Dr. Jonathan Newman) and recalling Blanche's homemade calendar and the time Dorothy had a crush on a priest. Newly filmed footage is minimal, but what they choose to use at clips truly are golden moments.

Warning: Spoilers
Sophia wants to move with her son Phil to help him raise his kids as his wife had left him. The girls are all very upset, they remember the good times they had together and try to convince Sophia to stay. But she is set on leaving, until her sons wife calls her and says that she is back with him.

It is one of the flashback episodes which I hate. The original moments are very few, maybe 5 minutes altogether, and they are not the funny parts, they just keep the flashbacks connected. They should really stop doing it, to save money just make a shorter season, we can see the great moments from reruns. And this one was also 2 episodes long, i mean really, what a waste

Slightly underwhelming.

Sophia explains that she's moving on, her son Phil badly needs her help, and despite the fact that he lives in a trailer, she feels she needs to do her motherly duty, the girls try to convince her to stay, and recount several, big memories.

I have a problem with this one, it is actually quite funny, but it felt a little lazy in the scheme of things.

Series three has produced multiple classic episodes, this just isn't one of them, the original material is actually very funny, but there's about 3 or 4 minutes of it, the rest all flashbacks, and great as they are, I can't score this episode highly.

The schedule on this show must have been brutal on the stars and team, you wonder why they didn't just make the series a little shorter.

The show was only in its third series, and some of the material was just way too fresh in the mind.

Hopefully the second part is better.

5/10.
