A fun and charming episode of the show, that in its 6th series showed no sign of diminishing returns.

Some great lines and moments here.

They don't make them like this any more.

If at Last You Do Succeed (#6.3)

Warning: Spoilers
Stan came up with a great potato kitchen device and this time it actually works out and he becomes rich and successful. Dorothy is not reacting well to it. When he is trying to invite her to an event she keeps on refusing to go. But when she hears what he feels she ends up going and we see them kiss at the end.

A very good episode about Dorothy and Stan. I am happy to see him finally have success in life. They made a great job developing his character so that the viewer likes him and one is really happy for him.

I wonder if they are trying to get him and Dorothy back together, this wouldn't go too well in the show I think.

It's not a novelty. It's a sporny!

Warning: Spoilers
Stan has invented a baked potato opener that prevents people from burning their fingers and wants Dorothy to accompany him to a meeting with Japanese investors. Dorothy refuses until Stanley makes a last minute plea. Meanwhile, Rose sells Blanche a box of her belongings which includes St. Olaf war bonds that would bankrupt it. It's an amusing episode featuring one of Rose's funniest St. Olaf stories.
