"Private Antics, Major Problems" does something very different for this series; creating a unique story and adding a creative fourth wall element into the episode. Incorporating the funny and the heart, "Private Antics, Major Problems" is a mainstay as the best episode in the first season.

This episode has a very different feel about it than any other episode. The way it plays out is creative and new, the beginning of the episode is actually an event that happens after what's in the bulk of the episode, which is a flashback to what happened before they were at point B in the beginning of the episode. This is the only "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers" with this format, and it seems to work great for the plot, evident of this episode. It makes it stand out and therefore feels fresh, even though this is only episode 20.

The character progression in this episode is handled as well as any other episode does. After slowly warming up to the training (despite almost leaving after only a day), Brandy comes out on top as... weirdly enough, right in her argument about stopping the anteaters in another way. Deservingly earning respect and learning a lesson that doing the right thing makes you feel good which she doesn't go back on throughout the rest of the show. The slow progression is how shows do development correctly.

Humor is top notch as well. A lot of the jokes tie into the fourth wall breaking, irony, or just fun little jabs in the middle of a scene, which doesn't break up the plot as it's not too serious that jokes would be detrimental to the story.

I get that this is short, but there's nothing else left to say, it's just a perfect episode through and through. 10/10.
