How can the writers of this episode not realize the flaw of letting Envy just walk away with Al. Al currently is the point of the entire show. Edward even goes on to just sit an chat with his sensei rather than pursuing Al. There should be nothing else on his mind. This is such a major flaw that it hurts everything else good about the episode. I found myself facepalming for the entirety of the first half of the episode.
