Warning: Spoilers
'The Sky is Falling.' The Vulture (voice of Gillie Fenwick) is terrorizing the skies above NYC with an army of actual vultures which he controls through a sonic device on his headpiece. There are some hilarious lines, especially as Spidey endlessly mocks his foe, but even the Vulture (long one of my favorite Spidey enemies due to his incredible ego) gets in one choice quip when he picks up a $2 million ransom from the city officials, and says, "And my mother never said I'd amount to anything!" Best of all is when the Vulture clocks Spidey, and Spidey's alter ego Peter Parker shows up for work with a black eye. His response when Jameson asks him about it? "I ran into some FOWL weather, Mr. Jameson."

'Captured by J. Jonah Jameson.' An inventor named Henry Smythe (voice of Henry Ramer) gifts Jameson with a robot that Smythe guarantees can catch Spider-Man. And this robot is indeed very efficient, running Spidey an extremely good race and even having Spidey dead to rights twice. Fortunately, you can always count on the web head to do some quick thinking at the last minute (plus, he gets some help from Betty Brant). The result is a hilariously stressed-out and dejected Jameson moping in front of a cop.

A fun pair of stories, with the latter based on a tale in the Amazing Spider-Man comic # 25.

Eight out of 10.
