This is The Worst?
wyrihu149 November 2020
6.5/10 Yeah, it's not a great episode, but apparently this is the worst?? I started watching South Park finally a few days ago, and so far I've watched almost 50 episodes! And this is the worst? Really? Wow. I'm excited!! If this is really the worst it can get, then yeah, this is an amazing show!!

Better than people say, although not one of the greatest hits
egunderson247 May 2019
I can understand why some people don't like this. It does have some notable problems like how the plot is rushed, Oprah turning on Towelie feels forced and out of the blue, none of the side characters are here (meaning that Towelie only has Oprah to bounce off of) and even some of the voice acting is a little off. It's as if Towelie's voice actor died and someone else had to take over and weren't able to nail the voice (like when Mary Kay Bergman died, and other people had to take over voicing Wendy and the other female characters and you could tell the difference). That's not the case however, his actor is still doing well. For anyone who's a fan of Towelie (like myself) will get some enjoyment out of this. Not to mention that even though the side plot of what's going on inside Oprah is absurd, it results in some of the funniest moments. However, some of the scenes in that plot are REALLY stretched so that the episode could be long enough. Their conversations being played on a still image can feel like they just drag on and there's no reason it has to be that long. It's definitely not the best episode, but it has some pretty good moments. Unfortunately those good moments are seriously weighed down

One of the worse episodes, but still decent
gangstahippie23 September 2008
A million little fibers does not have the main South Park kids, but is about Towelie, the pot-smoking, talking towel. He writes a book which people do not want to buy because he is a towel, so he changes the book around so he can seem human. The book becomes a success and Towlie is interviewed on Oprah. He decides to tell the world he is a towel, and everyone including oprah start chasing him.Meanwhile, Oprah's talking vagina is angry because Oprah has not paid any attention to it, it decides to hold everybody hostage afterwords.Yeah the episode is one of the worst South Park ones, it isn't too funny and the plot is just stupid.I like the Towelie character though.

Tu eres una toalla

Warning: Spoilers
As some others I would not say that this is a bad episode and while is not a really great one or as fantastic and memorable as some others from this Season 10, how could any South Park fan not like a show in which Towelie "insults" people by saying to them "you're a towel" and in which Oprah's minge and as***** are really desperate? I found a really enjoyable episode and I do laughed hard with some stuff so until this episode Season 10 has not a single one that I dislike.

Originally aired on 19 April 2006, A Million Little Fibers is a really bizarre show and it has Towelie as the main character and everything goes a little like this: Towelie is having a real bad time and after he is fired he decides to write his memoirs and to get his book published he must be a person so with a hat and a fake mustache Towelie is now Steven McTowelie and soon and thanks to Oprah his book is a successful one, Towelie is certainly still high most of the time.

The whole stuff with Mingey and Gary (Oprah's minge and as*****) is hilarious and I think was good to see it, not a complete awesome show but I liked it and like of Marjorine (from Season 9) Trey thinks of this as a show that should have been two shows instead of one. And there's a little appearance of a bunch of angry Mexicans because of Towelie, it was really funny ("tu eres una toalla" "beaners es rascisto"!).

The Worst South Park Episode of all time
KingMFreak19 October 2006
Warning: Spoilers
There is hardly anything redeeming about this episode. It is so crude, vile, and not funny that its purpose is defeated. I can stand the crudity to South Park to some degree, but I draw the line at talking assholes and vaginas. I was so polarized when I saw this I couldn't laugh about it afterwords. Most South Park episodes polarize me and then I laugh at them later (Scott Tenorman, for one). The only funny image from this movie is a gun popping out of Oprah's fly. But that image is boring after three seconds.

Don't see it. Towelee is proved to not work as a main character by this episode. You can only find a talking towel so funny for so long.

Brilliantly absurd

Warning: Spoilers
I have to disagree strongly with most of the other reviewers. I laughed out loud during this episode. Giving Oprah's vagina a Cockney (London working class) and her rectum a Welsh gay accent is f***** BRILLIANT. Maybe American viewers are not familiar with British accents, but that is there problem. I give it 9/10.

It's okay and weird. Towlie and Oprah centric episode.
celiawatsonanime17 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So Towlie's writing is good if he says that he's a person instead of a towel but when he gets exposed for being a Towel his writing gets bad again.

There wasn't enough conflict and it would've been more fun if Towlie had more problems with his rent.

It may have been even more fun if this plot was some fun small segment of a completely different episode with the main boys in it.

It doesn't make sense that Towlie's book helped people stop getting high when Towlie is high almost all the time.

Towlie's a nice minor character but doesn't feel right being a major character of an episode.

Oprah kind of seems like she backstabs Towlie after he gets exposed.

Well I liked it

I have to disagree with the first summary.

This epsidoe is a great parody.

I laughed a lot at several points during this episode, I think it's funny, but thats just my opinion, even if I thought it was crap I wouldn't give it such a hard review, I'd point out where it needed to be improved.

Overall the 'getting high', 'getting stoned' gags made me laugh an awful lot.

I guess this is an episode that only 'herbalists' can relate to properley.

Or maybe I'm talking out of my...

Sorry, I'm hi..

One of the worst episodes- EVER!
EDisGod210 May 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Never before have i seen such a terrible episode. This episode is based

completely on Toweliee (From series 5). First of all i don't really find a talking towel that funny.

Secondly, The scene with Oprahs vagina with the gun isn't funny either. Nothing in this episode made me laugh.

Finally, the accents of Mingey & Gary are extremely annoying and really are annoying, to be honest, Gary & Mingey are annoying and hopefully never return

You would of thought by now Parker & Stone could see we hate episodes without the kids in.

I Hate Towlie(only put this in to fill up space)

really lives up to his bad reputation...

Warning: Spoilers
After hearing about the negative reaction to this episode, as well as the absence of SP kids, a huge focus on Towelie and talking vaginas...I thought I'd let this one wait on the shelf for a little while.

So when I did finally watch it, I was so appalled...this really is one of the worst of South Park's episodes ever - definitely the worst of seasons 1-10 that's for sure.

The episode was just too surreal and weakly plotted. What's more half the episode was just an animated still of Oprah's vagina - in retrospect still shots are only good when there's actually comedy involved...this had none.

What's good about the episode? The ending message was nice and I guess Towelie's a charming character I suppose - a drug addict trying to redeem himself constantly through the episode, and throwbacks to his origin episode were also fun.

As for laughs - I inadvertently sniggered at a fart joke but that was it - nothing much here folks.

So personally this is strictly for die-hard fans or Towelie lovers, but even if you are one of either prepare yourself for a mind-numbingly pointless experience...with some horrendous British accents.

whats wrong here?

Warning: Spoilers
This was a very enjoyable episode, it had Towlie, getting high, and it made fun of Oaprah! The talking ass and vagina is going a bit far, but the way they talked was just hilarious... i seriously think that this has some funny references. I think the worst spot should not go to this, but an episode that wasn't actually somewhat awesome. Like Jackovasaurs or something. but whatever, there are only 4 votes, and i knows that this episode ain't no piece of crap!! aside from the talking vagina... but that one line with Paris, I could of sworn that was from something... well, whatever, forget it.. Also i noticed that this episode was exteremely creative with Towlie's high situation. Aside from that i really think it was just really really o.k, so save the spot and just look past Oaprah's talking bodyparts. IT WAS FUNNY!!

Far from South Park's best, but still has some great moments...
dsgraham2120029 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, okay. Enough of the vitriol about this episode. In my book, ANY parody of Oprah is a winner, no matter how it's portrayed. Check out some of the old Mad TV skits and you'll see what I mean.

Yes, the voices of Mingy, Gary, and even Towelie annoy but not on a level like, say, Metalocalypse. That one's are so unlistenable, plus the guitar riffs acting as a form of censoring dialog, make this show an auditory ordeal. In comparison, even the worst South Park episode shines more brightly in this regard, so to speak. Just my opinion.

The concept of a vagina barfing is brilliant. Unimaginably gross and tasteless, this sort of thing is what one can expect from South Park. If you disagree, then the show really isn't for you. Nobody does satire or parody or grotesquery like South Park. No one. Even as an inferior entry in the show, it still warrants an 8-rating on my South Park meter.

No way this is the worst episode
garydubois-191515 June 2023
I'm not sure why people rip on this episode...so Oprah actually had a book club for her arbitrary pretentious Ivy League simulations, and she actually invited an author back to her show for the sole purpose of unreservedly raking him over the coals in front of her viewing audience. She definitely deserved a bit of razzing for doing that, and the Towelie correlation was clever, the jokes were funny (imo) and no one can argue that it was at least original at worst through the crudeness. BTW, who actually watches this show with the expectation of non-crude humor anyway? The use of the word "minge" alone makes this one funnier than at least 5 dud episodes that immediately come to mind. I think Trey & Matt could have really driven it home by portraying the shift from Book Club Oprah to Urban Oprah depending on who her guest was at the time, but either way, this was classic South Park during the glory days of the show.

A Great Episode Yet Dragged Longer on Gary and Mingey
ferozc13716 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
South Park episodes are really creative that not only make a certain point but also telling a great story. Towelie is the towel that gets high. Well this time he tries to write a book while he was high. Towelie's story is cut and the story of Gary and Mingy Oprah's both private holes, a hilarious twist.

The story continues on, that the holes are tired of not being, for the lack of better word, screwed. They plot to reveal the identity of Towelie as a towel, now that he is famous author and presented himself as a human.

I don't want to talk about the plot more, I think it has worse reviews not only it does not have the boys and the Dads, but it also drags on too much on the glory holes. A funny episode, definitely worth watching specially if you want to smoke weed and laugh.
