Sure the introduction of the alternate universe came a little late in the story maybe, but I'd prefer an inventive if messy finale over a predictable one any day. This was a fantastic and satisfying wrap up to a great show.

Personally, I think this was a satisfying conclusion for the series, very fitting with its themes concerning how life isn't perfect, but how can someone make the best of it.
I also liked the movie, which was a decent complement for this finale.
