Jan Lehmann spent his early days in Fraenkisch Crumbach, the town where the Rodenstein legend was founded. You can see some parts of the town like the Rodenstein figure in the documentary.
The documentary is part of a short-film double feature paired with the movie Stockflame (2005). It is also included on the 2006 limited DVD.
Jan Lehmann was randomly selected to shoot some of the B-Roll Footage. The Director Christopher M. Peckham asked him at his second day to assist Joachim Schmidt. The final documentary features not much of his Footage.
The producers make no mention of budget in the documentary. They just talk about a small amount of money for the production. Its like an insider-joke because the real budget was a secret even on the job for curious crew members.
