This is an excellent documentary dealing with those who perished on Flight 93 and the heroism that occurred on Sept. 11. It allows us to feel what their families went through, via interviews with friends and families. The special features on the DVD are quite interesting, and it allows us to realize that yes, these were mere mortals, but at the same time, people who stepped up when it counted. America needs to remember this story always, not put it in the past as it has so many examples of its history. This is a stirring tribute, and we should be proud to have had the people among us. I hope that everyone gets a chance to view this, which is why I've added it into the church library that I run.

This was a must-see documentary about the heroes of Flight 93. It scares me as to what might have happened had they not done what they did. Exactly what happened we'll never know, but this documentary captures everything about the flight and the heroic passengers. You will get to know each passenger and how their actions prevented something horrible. Of course we all know about Todd Beamer, Tom Burnett, and Mark Bingham, but after watching this you will find out about all the other people aboard. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this well-made film. I strongly recommend it. If you admire the people aboard that flight, this is definitely the film for you. Watch it.

Portrait of Courage: The Untold Story of Flight 93 (2006)

This here is an extremely well-made documentary that gives you a better understanding of who the people were on board Flight 93, which of course crashed in the field on 9/11.

The documentary features interviews with friends, spouses and parents of some of the members on board and we're given several photos of them as well as the story of what happened on board the flight that day. We hear what theories were known at the time and we also get to hear from the family members on what they think happened through the phone calls they had with their loved ones.

I've seen so many documentaries on the subject of 9/11 and this here is certainly one of the best. The theories about what happened on the flight and in the cockpit were certainly fascinating but the highlight was just getting to hear more about the people on the plane. We get to hear about their background and it really does seem amazing that these people were the ones on the flight because they had several people who just wouldn't back down to the terrorists.
