"It all started when I lost my pickle!"

"I Can Get It for You Retail" tops the list of fan favorites, eliciting one of David Cassidy's funniest performances. Shirley's birthday is coming up, and Danny sees her admiring something 'wild and exotic and frivolous'- a mink coat. Discovering that girls would pay any price for anything owned by famous big brother Keith, the pint sized entrepreneur gathers together a few items to test the marketplace ("I've never been attacked by a herd of stampeding money before!"). With baby brother Chris in tow, Danny proceeds to engineer a campaign which drives Keith crazy, a series of 'misplaced' items culminating in the theft of his hair (Keith: "Mom, you're not gonna tell me I've misplaced it!"). As the saleslady, Sari Price makes her second appearance on the show, a dear friend of Shirley Jones from her Broadway days. The featured song is perfect for the subject matter, "Every Bit of You," composed by Irwin Levine and L. Russell Brown, not issued until the fifth LP SHOPPING BAG (Mar 1972), the last to reach Billboard's Top 40 album charts, at number 18.
