Doomsday Agenta?
iqdenyc11 December 2007
I haven't seen this film, but based on the comments I've read I plan to. I'm working in a so called "Green" building now and there's another one going up on the other end of the block. Hopefully this type of design innovation can have a positive effect on the environment.

Just a quick point or two for Rob Stella above: Arguably Al Gore has done more for environment awareness than anyone in history. He's about the best thing going for America after seven years of Dubbya. He's no longer involved in politics so how can he have an agenda? I think he truly believes global warming is the greatest threat to humanity and he's trying honestly to bring about positive change.

PBS series comment

Karena Albers and Tad Fettig are right on in this documentary. It is not like Al Gore's doomsday personal political agenda even though he brings up valid points.I urge every one to have a look at the series "design-e2" on PBS. Architecture and sustainable building should be looked at carefully, for what we are doing today my involve what we can't fix in the future. There will be a second series on Architecture coming up. Plus new topics are already in the works such as "water"/ "inviroment"/ Health, etc. Please Google your local PBS stations to find out when these series are on air. Or go to their web page and find out more about the content of the series. Thank you .
