- TriviaThe argument caused between Peter and his family by his dislike of The Godfather (1972) has basis in real life. Series creator Seth MacFarlane (who also voices Peter) is one of the only people on the staff who doesn't like the movie.
- GoofsWhen the Griffins are arguing about The Godfather (1972), Chris mentions that Robert De Niro is in the film. He is not; he plays young Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II (1974).
- Quotes
Joe Swanson: We've captured the burglars.
Lois Griffin: Oh, thank God!
Joe Swanson: Unfortunately, they're pressing sexual harassment charges against your daughter.
Peter Griffin: Well, that was a close call.
Joe Swanson: You know, ah, Meg should probably get a lawyer.
Lois Griffin: [to Peter] Oh, sweetie, thank you for keeping our spirits up with your stories.
Joe Swanson: Your daughter is a sexual predator. If you don't do anything, she could go to jail for a long time.
Peter Griffin: Don't thank me, Lois, thank my ancestors for living lives of greatness.
Joe Swanson: [to his fellow cops] Okay, guys, just take her away.

It contains many references to actual historical events including vignettes using early sound film style and a Peter Hitler sketch.
I would have given it an 8 or possibly a 9 but, not surprisingly, Macfarlane takes the opportunity to inject another one of his unbridled hateful stabs at faith, Christianity seemingly his favorite to profane. But, as far as one of his Anti-Christ tirades, it is fairly mild and so, overall, ends up being one of my favorite episodes. And, thankfully, it does not include one of those thoroughly uninteresting Peter-Chicken fights they only add in on episodes that run short.
