Last appearance of Courtney B. Vance as Ron Carver.
The medal sitting on the table in Tom Guiry's living room is the Iraq Campaign Medal, which was created by an executive order from President George W. Bush on November 29, 2004. The medal was awarded to any member of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard) who served in the second Iraq War (Operation New Dawn) between March 19, 2003 and December 31, 2011 when Operation New Dawn ended. The specific criteria required for being awarded the medal was serving on Iraqi soil (or in Iraqi territorial waters) for either thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days; personnel who engaged in combat with enemy forces, or who were wounded in combat or a terrorist attack were awarded the campaign medal regardless of the number of days they were in country.
The artist this was based on was Thomas Kinkaide, who died in 2012. His art was mass produced and was considered kitschy and never taken seriously in the art world but was sold in malls in stores run by Kinkaide's company. His works are pretty much worthless because of the mass production.
Final appearances of Courtney B. Vance, Annabella Sciorra, and Jamey Sheridan.
Chris Noth (Mike Logan) & Annabella Sciorra (Carolyn Barek) also worked together on episode 4.5, Waiting for the Knock (2012), of The Good Wife (2009) as Peter Florrick & Lesli Rand respectively.
