Though I really don't care about the music, the quality of this film is obvious

This film was recently posted on IMDb for viewing. This is a documentary about a subject I know nothing about nor do I really care for--yet I was STILL very impressed because of the quality of the production. As the film showed a wide variety of fans of the band House of Freaks, the visuals were amazing. Many of the scenes were shown using incredibly artistic shots. The use of rear-projected scenes, video shot on many different textures, etc. all gave this film a really beautiful look--even though the documentary was about the tragic slaughter of the band's front man and his family. Artistically, this film is as good as you could possibly get and so it's no wonder that it's an award-winning film. Other documentary makers need to see this film in order to become inspired to do more than just point a camera at people and ask them to talk! Exceptional.
