The Ice Warriors arrive, and take control of Peladon, but they face an uprising.
There was an improvement here, and without any doubts, it's down to the appearance of The Ice Warriors. A complex, powerful race, one that we're forever unsure about, whether they're good or bad guys. They look really good here. They elevate the story somewhat, but overall I just find it quite boring.
Let's talk about The Space Pirates for just one minute, I'm sure that helmet of Commander Azaxyr was used in that, but poor Donald Gee, who competently played Eckersley here, he didn't really have parts in the best stories did he, a shame, a good actor.
Ettis has that great, crazed line of 'Kill them, kill them all,' I can just picture Kenneth Williams saying it in Carry on up The Khyber.
When Jon's extra is fighting, it looks as if he's had a blue rinse.
It was better, but it's still only average at best.
There's more recycled material here than a dustbin from IKEA, 6/10.
