Seek, locate, Exterminate. You get the idea....

I think you can see funds were possibly tight, the Daleks look so bad, I never want to see them looking pristine, but they look very dirty, scratched and battered. The main problem here with them is some of their dialogue is really bad, 'seek and locate, exterminate,' would they really say that? they have become so repetitive and dare I say a bit dull, their behaviour seems at odds with how it was in Genesis.

The Dalek control room looks rather good, I love the sound you always get with the Daleks too. I'm glad they've stuck with that after all these years.

I always love seeing Tim Barlow (Tyssan,) he is such an interesting actor, with a truly interesting face, so charismatic. His performance is made all the more impressive by him losing the best part of his hearing in the 50's.

One of the most irritating lines in the show's history, when Tom climbs up the shaft and shouts 'if you're supposed to be the superior race of the universe, why don't you try climbing after us?' Now I class Tom as my favourite Classic Doctor, but that line was just terrible.

I don't understand the bit about the Daleks not knowing about the shaft leading to the bottom level, why wouldn't they know of its existence? They live there, it makes no sense.

Part 2 is a fairly strong continuation in terms of story, I don't necessarily think they knew what they were doing with the Daleks, they're a little bit dim, a bit underused, somehow they aren't menacing. it is great to see Davros again though.

Part 2 6/10

The Perpetual Pensioner...

The Daleks burrow down like desperate moles, looking for a creator, who initially made them whole, but the Doctor beats them to it, finds immortal dormant cruet, who starts to wake, removes the brake, from his cockpit.
