The Doctor, now president, sets of a chain of events, resulting in the ultimate betrayal.
The word I want to use to describe Part two, is odd. Not just the storyline, because that is definitely odd, but the writing also, it is all just so odd. It's not bad, in fact it's quite dramatic, I liked the ending, with the appearance of The Vardans, and I liked the scenes between Leela and Rodan. Series 15 is just a bit patchy, particularly when you compare to the previous one, and I'm just not sure if The Doctor or Leela feel entirely in character. There is no denying Tom's brilliance, he delivers incredibly well on the script he was given, he's sincere and quite menacing.
It's a good looking production once again, great costumes. Borussa and The Castellan look good, both are good characters, and well acted.
It's just a bit hard to love. 6/10
