The Oak Ridge Boys kept a ping pong table in their dressing room backstage and would play during downtime, sometimes challenging guest stars.
The set used for the show were originally built for the Las Vegas staging of "Starlight Express," which ran through November 1997. Immediately following the taping of "Live From Las Vegas," the stage was dismantled.
Sandy Hackett (son of comedian Buddy Hackett) served as the audience warmer.
The entire series was shot in 9 days.
